HDR-pictures & Timelapses
After watching countless timelapse movies on youtube. and this being my favourite, Timelapse-video. So after wathcing these videos I decided to start making my own.
The problem with making timelapse videos is that the camera has to take hundreds of pictures to make a movie. My Nikon D40 doesn't have this ability by it self since it has no wired remote control or built in function.
The way I do this is by hooking my Nikon D40 up to my Acer Aspire One when it is running Linux Ubuntu. Then I start up a bash-script which in turns starts the gphoto2 software with a number of pictures to take. and the interval between the exposures.
Check out my youtube channel because that's where they are until I care to update my video page.
I've alse been trying to improve my skillz at HDR-photography, which can be seen on the pictures site.
At this point I'm glad to report that I'm making progress. Since the pictures you see are the ones I choose to upload, which in turns means that there is a huge f***ing pile of crappy pictures which no-one will ever see.
So in the meantime seek me out on youtube @ Magnus1990P.
